“ Southside Chicago native here After living in SWFL for 3 years, I can honestly say 3 City Pizza has the best tavern-style pizza of any place I’ve tried down here. The staff is always polite and genuinely welcoming – they make you feel like family, not just a customer. Honestly, I’m surprised they don’t have way more reviews already based on how well they treat people. Mike and Missy, the owners, are hands-on and present – in the kitchen and out on the floor – so you get real, personal care, not the vibe you get at places staffed with people just there for a paycheck. Once you go to 3 City Pizza, you’ll see what I mean. They’re real, hard-working, lighthearted, and just good people – the kind of people you’d meet back home in Chicago. ”

“ Finding good pizza on vacation is always so hard. We live close to Chicago and are spoiled with great pizza. We were told to try this place and I only wish I did earlier in the week, not the last day! Pizza is so good and the prices are very reasonable. David was a great waiter and the cook (didn’t catch his name) made great pizzas. We got the Detroit style and Chicago thin and both him the spot. Will be back next year for sure! ”

“ We’ve been to 3 City many times and it never gals to deliver. The Chicago thin and Chicago dog are great. If you’re from the Chicagoland area, the Chicago thin (I refuse to call it Tavern style) comes incredibly close to the ones from the motherland. The Chicago style hot dog is perfect every time. We haven’t tried the Detroit or NY style because the Chicago thin is just so good. The deep dish is also really good, but it does take quite a while to bake, so make sure you get there in plenty of time and don’t come too hungry since you’ll be waiting. The Pizza Puff is a nice little starter, but to me it just takes up valuable Pizza and Hot Dog space. Keep in mind, it’s a mom-and-pop, so service can get a little slow at times, but they’re so friendly and treat you like old friends. My only knock on the place is the soft drink selection. Soda by the bottle can get pricey real quick and there’s something special about pizza and fountain soda that 3 City misses out on. But that’s hardly a reason to not pay them a visit. Or multiple visits. ”

“ Man. I've been trying to get a pie from here forever. It's so worth the wait. Hands down best Chicago's tavern thin crust pie I have had in Florida. Their deep dish is my second favorite. I made the mistake of extra cheese next time not needed. But again, hands down, best pie, in my opinion. Oh, the kicker is under 40 dollars. ”
